anyways i've decided to blog about LOST camp! :D and i think its going to be rather long-winded :/ haha. okay bessy here goes...

Day ONE
woke up early today, at around 5.30. bathed, did some last minute checking of everything and took cab with dad to school. whoa i really needed help. 1 backpack and 2 big bags of stuff. wood, sand, vim, newspapers, patrol bag etc etc. quite a lot of things for a 4 day 3 night camp huh. but anyway it was fun!
CHAUSEY patrol! :D
pitched our tents, gadgets and kitchen shelter (: it was nice with everybody working together haha. lunch was nice. nasi lemak and watermelon!(: BUT they gave one extra packet of rice to each patrol and we had to finish it! i was already so full and still had to eat some more. was quite scared that i would puke later cos we had punishments ( i think. i cant really remember :/) yup. had initiative games which was FUN! not to say hilarious too haha (: especially the wheelbarrow thing which resulted in my poor booklet which was halfway in and halfway out of my pocket to be tattered and torn and soggy ):
the food cooked on the first day was NICE, and im sure the others thought so too haha (: was afraid that the rice would either be like porridge or very hard, but then thanks to ou wonderful rice cooker LIYIN, our rice was great! :D and i didnt overshoot the 3 mins bathing time too! haha yay (:
had a night trail that night. ohmy the seniors told us horror stories which got everybody like so creeped la. and they also told us 'horror stories', their experience during camp when they were guides. haha. anyway the night trail was both fun and creepy. we were going up to the rooftop garden with bongbong and singing deck the halls along the way haha (: somehow singing out loud and walking briskly makes you not feel that scared anymore (:
anyways end of the day was going to sleep, which i definitely didnt. it was so cold in the middle of the night that i decided to crawl into the warmth of my sleeping bag instead of using it as a pillow. (:
Day TWO
rise and shine, colours, pt, breakfast.
inspection! 15 items so ya, lots of punishments later on.
there was the COOKING COMPETITION! :D it was fun (: ember cooking. fish, fish, campbell soup and longan (:
then it was WATER GAMES! it was super fun, dumping water on each other and the water bombs! :D and our punishments were EXHAUSTING, but i guess we really deserved it anyway. after all, one for all, all for one.
dinner was stir-fried noodles. and it was the fastest meal among all the meals during camp.
and so the day went on and at night we had the pga patrol's night trail. it was rather fun, a bit like deathnote, but it started to get quite creepy when we went around the school looking for those entries of the diary thing. it definitely doesnt help hearing all those horror stories of my school. ): it was also frustrating too as the envelopes were exactly the same as band's, and they were also having their night trail at that time. ): so anyways we had no choice but to guess the person who had the grudge, and our guess was correct: fangting!(:
and that night it rained, so we had to sleep in the oh-so-cold mpr. ): and so it was another night of not sleeping well.
Day THREE
rise and shine, colours.
was wood and water for the day, so we woke up early today. we drew lots the day before and jolene drew the empty one so jiahua, yingqi and me did colours. jiahua became the timer at the last minute as she was at the place that yingqi was supposed to be at, so yea. i think we were quite bad la, our marching and 90 degrees and the locking of arms etc. ):
pt, breakfast.
inspection! great improvement! down to only 1 item, compared to yeaterday's 15 items. yes (:
hike. fun and not tiring! fortunately (: and we decided not to complete the hike and waited and boarded the bus when shortly after, it POURED. got back quite late, but still we were not as wet as the other not so lucky patrols who got caught in the rain.
cooked dinner and liyin added sesame oil to our rice and it ended up nice! (: had soya sauce chicken and 'ash-y' veggies. i was afraid that vim would get into the food but luckily, no stomachaches whatsoever. (:
CAMPFIRE!
i think that the atmosphere was rather dead, not enthu. and poros and wolin's combined patrol item was just HILARIOUS! ahaha. it was very entertaining. (:
MANITO!
yay i then found out that my manito was EUNICE! and i got a bar of chocolate which i was so tempted to eat it that night, but i didnt. (:
GUIDES OWN!
goodness it was both nice and sad at the same time. its like so emo. the campfire was so happy and then suddenly so sad, but
yes! slept in the tent and finally a good night's sleep (:
Day FOUR
cooks 1 for the day, woke up early once again. (:
prepared breakfast and lunch with hydra. slapped kaya and jam on numerous slices of bread. buttered hotdog buns and stuffed hotdogs into them. packed them into plastic bags and labelled them. seemed mundane but it was actually quite fun. (: watermelon again! somehow in camp fruits always seem to taste so nice. :D
