HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY TO ALL TEACHERS! :D
i boarded the earlier 262 bus yesterday as it was going to rain and i also didn't want my roses to get squashed in the crowded later bus :/ i met amanda at the bus stop so we boarded the bus together. reached the bus stop quite early so i walked slowly to school. was nearing the gate when it started to rain, so i walked faster and managed to get into the shelter JUST in time, as then it started to rain very heavily. i then walked up to class and chatted here and there, then bessy said that she had to go for patrol meeting already, then i remembered, ohshit i also have patrol meeting! what's more it was a combined one with bougain to write our messages to miss gwee on the board. so i grabbed a pen and raaaaaaan down (carefully of course, what with the slippery floors) with bessy to the specs tent and reached there at 7 on the dot. phew.
after that had to go to the hall to assemble and also for the celebration. ohmy it was ONE BIG HUMAN JAM. it was rather messy but in the end we all managed (: then while sitting in the hall i got my class tee! like finally la. but it was rather small. i ordered 34 but the size was 30! ah. and rachel's class tee size is totally ridiculous! 28! i mean, though she is a bit small sized doesn't mean that her shirt size is that of a 7-year old right. aiyoh. so in the end she didn't wear hers. ):
then bessy, hilary and me went to give our roses to mrs nath, luo lao shi and ms nair, who hugged us in return (: with the exception of ms nair, as she was pregnant? haha. anyway mr lin looked so different and weird without his gelled hair and long pants! (: we didn't see mrs sherwood so we didn't give her our presents :/
after we were dismissed i had to go for the guiders' teachers' day present giving. it was rather humourous la. they kept passing down messages like: 'hey, 123 we love you miss gwee. pass down' and 'pass down. 123 happy teachers' day'. haha :D after that i had to go back to class as i left my file under my desk because in my haste to reach the specs tent in time, i forgot to bring it along with me. then i went home, rested awhile and ate some biscuits, and then visited TOWNSVILLE!
was supposed to meet 6 loyalty at the void deck of my block but in the end, only like siangyee, jiamin, priscilla, ivan, shaojie, peiwen, stephanie, amanda, lorraine, jolene, jason and nicholas were there. then we wrote messages on peices of coloured paper which ivan they all stuck them on the corrugated cardboard. and then there were little notebooks for miss ong, huang lao shi and mrs leong. ohmy it was so cool (: we waited for the rain to lighten then we entered townsville. saw my mum fetching my brother back from school as well (:
the canteen was rather crowded. i think it was around 1 plus, but i wasn't very sure as i didn't check the time. we found a table and the others were still doing some last minute pasting of messages on the board. and ivan was like, hey go and talk to mrs leong so we can give huang lao shi her board. i asked why and he said because they didn't prepare a board for mrs leong ): but in the end she still knew la it was so big like how can you not notice it. and huang lao shi and mrs leong will be retiring next june. ): aiyoh we wouldn't even be able to celebrate a proper teachers' day before they retire. ): anyway my roses went to miss ong, huang lao shi, mrs leong and mdm nor (:
saw many of my old classmates and schoolmates, like michelle tham and tan, zixin, yvette, xiao dan etc.and i also saw.......
ADRIANO!
yes it's true! wow eh. haha lorraine and jolene were like so excited and high la. after adriano talked to huang lao shi they finally got the courage to ask him whether they could take a photo with him. apparently he said yes, and jiamin was the 'camerawoman'. peiwen 'popped out' from somewhere but then she wasn't in the photo! aiyoh. she seemed a bit sad ): but all of us gathered for a group photo with miss ong, huang lao shi and mrs leong :D
I LOVE 6 LOYALTY 2004.
all of us then decided to go to pizza hut to eat. it was around 3 plus already. we walked to jubilee, then realised that pizza hut has moved! forgot about it until peiwen said that it is now next to kfc. whoa i think we were very noisy at pizza hut. joked and laughed while waiting for the pizzas to come. well actually, i think we were laughing througout the whole thing la. we were probably very noisy haha. it totalled up to $57.59! haha and shaojie is one BIG lover of cheese (:
then we were standing outside kfc settling the money among ourselves and also deciding where to go next. steph said that the police may mistake us of having an illegal gathering. haha (: and we 'drew' on the misty windows of kfc. oops. :/ and ivan suggested going to party world ktv which he said sounded very 'se4 qing2'. aiyoh. se qing still want to go ah. haha but in the end we just went home as it was getting rather late. siangyee, jiamin, priscilla, ivan and shaojie went home first. then amanda, steph, peiwen, lorraine, jolene and me went to macs as we 'had some urgent businesses to attend to'. haha. felt rather guilty for using their toilet without buying anything :/ after that lorraine and peiwen took bus home, and steph, jolene, amanda and me walked home. (:
